Hailing from Galveston but always repping H-town, Mel brings together a diverse background of over 10 years in fitness (we’re talking strength training to yoga teacher training over here) and personal development work to create a unique experience on the bike. Mel’s love for music started with painstaking playlists burned onto CDs for friends; you can expect the same level of care in any class you’re in with her.


Mel loves understanding what makes people tick and how people bounce back from things that are hard. She is passionate about the growth of any team she’s on and loves connecting with people whenever she can. She is a firm believer in the power of honesty, work ethic and celebration. 


When she’s not making you sweat, you can find her slangin’ stretchy pants with some of the best people on the planet at lululemon, whipping up a “what do we have left in the fridge” ala Chopped dinner for her partner, Monica and/or overstating the cuteness of her two pups, Riley and Belle (to anyone that will listen).
